Victim Services

The NSW Department of Communities, and Justice, The Victim Support ACT (VSACT) and the Victims of Crime Victoria offers free counselling to anyone impacted by violent crime in NSW, ACT and Victoria respectively. At Real Path Health and Wellbeing, our therapists are trusted and approved providers who bring compassion, deep understanding, and trauma-informed care to every session. We specialise in supporting individuals impacted by sexual violence, domestic and family violence, community harm, trauma, and neglect. With extensive training and real-world experience, we’re here to walk alongside you gently, respectfully, and at your pace as you move toward recovery and reclaiming your strength.

Who is eligible for Victims of Crime Counselling?

Individuals who have been directly affected by crime or impacted by violent crime are eligible. The violent act does not need to be reported to the police, and those who have experienced past violence are also eligible. Common circumstances include, but are not limited to:

  • Sexual and indecent assault (all ages)
  • Domestic violence
  • Physical assault
  • Home invasion
  • Robbery
  • Family members of homicide victims
